Our espresso machine packed up and decided to go for something easier to clean and maintain. As those espresso filters do block all too easily, I considered a reusable filter but decided that was back to scraping grounds again, and paper filters must be easier....

Now that we've got the measure of it's water volume and brewing strength, this machine makes a good mug of coffee. The hinged lid makes cleaning the jug a little fiddly (it may detach but I don't want to force the pivot points).
